Hondros College is a professional education provider based in Westerville, Ohio. As part of Hondros Education Group, Hondros College offers online and in-classroom courses, exam prep solutions, and textbooks for the real estate, mortgage, appraisal, insurance, and home inspection industries.
THE PROBLEM
Hondros College has positioned itself as a top provider of high-quality real estate education in the state of Ohio. Hondros College wanted to increase its brand visibility in other states while showcasing their course offerings for students in those states.
THE SOLUTION
To accomplish this goal, Futurety undertook a comprehensive search engine optimization (SEO) strategy. Futurety audited the site’s SEO health and analyzed current site traffic and user engagement. To increase organic Google traffic acquisition Futurety collaborated with the Hondros College team to identify high-volume search keywords. The Futurety team then updated the title and meta descriptions, developed on-page copy and blog content for relevant initiatives, revised image alt-text of priority site pages. These included the top pages by pageviews, real estate education, appraisal, blog, and contact pages. Futurety also provided URL structure and user experience recommendations to inform the development of future site content.
THE RESULTS
Following project completion, Hondros College’s website saw year-over-year increases in overall traffic acquired through organic Google searches. Organic Google traffic from target states also increased year-over-year.
