COVID-19 Grants and Resources for Small Businesses

Small businesses are the backbone of our community. COVID-19 has presented a unique challenge to small businesses across the country. Many businesses are facing closures, declining revenue, and dwindling resources. 

In an effort to support small businesses, many global enterprises have created funding and grant opportunities to support businesses as they continue to feel the impact of the coronavirus.

Futurety has compiled a list of available grants for small businesses and will continue to update this list as more information becomes available. 

Salesforce Care Small Business Grants 

Salesforce is offering eligible small businesses the opportunity to receive a $10,000 grant to help them navigate through the COVID-19 outbreak. 

In order to apply, your business must meet the following requirements: 

  • Be a for-profit company 
  • Have between 2 and 50 employees
  • Have been in business for 2 full years as of March 2020 
  • Have an annual revenue between $250K and $2M 
  • Have experienced challenges from COVID-19 
  • Meet all other eligibility requirements as stated in the Grant Program Terms linked here

Applications for the state of Ohio will open at 8:00 AM on April 24th and close on May 1st.

Facebook Small Business Grants Program 

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help up to 30,000 small businesses during the global pandemic. 

In order to apply, your business must meet the following requirements: 

  • Have between 2 and 50 employees
  • Have been in business for over a year 
  • Have experienced challenges from COVID-19 
  • Be in or near a location where Facebook operates (including data centers)

Applications to apply are open until May 6th for the New Albany / Franklin County area.  

Google Ad Credit for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses 

Google is giving small businesses across the world a total of $340 million in ad credits, which can be used towards future ad spend, until the end of 2020 across all Google Ads platforms. 

In order to apply for the Google Ad credit, your business must meet the following requirements: 

  • Have had a Google Ads account in 10 out of the 12 months of 2019, and in January and/or February of this year 
  • Advertise through Google or a Google partner 
  • Adhere to Google’s advertising policies

There is no application for this grant. Starting in late May, Google will begin rolling out the ad credit in phases. Eligible customers will be notified and will see the ad credit in their Google Ads account.
