THE BUSINESS

An international manufacturer of medical devices came to Futurety with a complex set of needs regarding data engineering and data visualization.

THE PROBLEM

The Client’s team dealt with utilizing website data from their Google Analytics properties due to their global scale, properties (80+), a templated process and code for their team to use for future reporting, and an end-user (marketing team members) dashboard. Once this dataset was created, the larger need their team had was to then integrate this into a larger set of end-user dashboards covering all-digital platform data (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud email data) for their managers, directors, and executives to use during marketing campaign performance evaluation.

THE SOLUTION

Our team transitioned all of the existing code housed within BigQuery to a simplified set of code that is easily updated and managed for the Client’s team. 

We then created connections for all of their digital advertising platforms, website data, and email data in order to create a unified data set that could be integrated into dashboards within Tableau. 

We worked with their team to create automated logic that updated daily mapping tables so that data within dashboards was up to date each morning by 5am for their teams to utilize. 

The Results

Futurety created connections for all of their digital advertising platforms, website data, and email data in order to create a unified data set that could be integrated into dashboards within Tableau. 
After all data engineering and data pipelining was completed, we then built an elaborate set of dashboards using this data for their entire marketing unit, globally.
