Job Description:

Futurety is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Analytics Program Manager to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple data analytics projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting to ensure transparency of project status across teams and to raise awareness of Futurety’s capabilities and progress among organizational leadership.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three to six years working experience as a program or project manager in the information technology sector
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Azure, BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo)
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a program or project manager in the information technology sector.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
